Bad Dream: Coma is an adventure game by Desert Fox. The gameplay focuses on solving puzzles by using items found in the game’s world. The game set inside a nightmare, and the hero who gets trapped inside is ready to go to great lengths just to get out. In order to wake up, he needs to visit a number of horrifying locations, like a ruined bridge, gloomy swamps, or a disturbing hospital. He also meets different characters who are, just like him, trapped in this dreadful dimension. The choices the player makes play a crucial role in the story, as the consequences affect the whole world and lead to one of several endings.

Ragnarok Journey is a browser MMORPG developed by Gravity Interactive, being heavily inspired by Ragnarok Online. The game takes us to a fantasy world inspired by Norse mythology. We learn the story by doing quests and talking to various NPCs. In terms of gameplay mechanics Ragnarok Journey is a typical MMORPG, where, after we create our character, we explore the game's vast world, do quests, collect items and equipment, and develop our hero. We can level up manually or leave that element to the game's A.I. Combat is an inseparable element of the game. We will face many various opponents against whom we can use range weapons, cold-steel weapons, and magic. We can create our own guilds and do quests with other players.

Another expansion pack to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The expansion was developed by Infinity Ward and it contains new multiplayer maps and the next chapter of the zombie mini campaign. The latter takes the players to a horror movie set of the crazy director Willard Wyler. The action of the movie takes place in New York City during the seventies’. Shaolin Sister is the mentor of the four main characters and she can teach them four kung fu martial arts that are effective against the zombies. In addition to that, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Continuum introduces four multiplayer maps: Turista is a spa resort inside the skeleton of an ancient creature; Scrap enables the players to fight on an abandoned junkyard on the moon; Archive is a futuristic art gallery and Excess is a modified version of the iconic Rust from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. As usual, the new locations were created not only for close quarters combat, but for players that prefer sniping as well.

An FPP shooter in which the players explore various neon-filled locations and fight hordes of enemies using a vast arsenal of weapons. The protagonist can use pistols, machine guns, shotguns and explosives, with alternative modes for each of them. Additionally, collecting Fragments during the game allow us to get useful upgrades and more weapons for our character. Aside from using guns, victory in Desync requires using environment (including traps) and chaining attacks into effective combinations. The Foregone Syndicate’s work has been developed solely for single player, although online rankings serve as a sort of substitute for multiplayer, letting the players show off their scores. Visuals are one of characteristic features of Desync, with style resembling the one from the classic movie TRON.

A jRPG developed by Nintendo, which offers us the ability to take control of Mii, Nintendo’s player avatars. Our job is to gather up a team of heroes (built from players found on our friend lists) and lead them on a quest to defeat the Dark Lord, who has stolen the unique faces of Miitopia citizens. When it comes to gameplay, we are given an RPG built from standard elements, including exploration, turn-based combat, or an experience system that enables us to develop and enhance our heroes. Our party members are connected through friendships that offer new combo attacks once the friendship meter reaches a certain level. The graphics are not spectacular, considering that the game was released for handhelds, yet visually pleasing and maintain a smooth framerate.

An expanded version of the Kirby 3D Rumble minigame from Kirby: Planet Robobot. The gameplay is focused on traveling through 3D levels in which we must eliminate many enemies and collect coins in the shortest possible amount of time. Kirby's Blowout Blast is based on the same rules, but the levels are now more complex with additional enemies and bosses. The main character, a pink creature called Kirby, can swallow enemies and then spit them out at other enemies. Time is important in Kirby's Blowout Blast, which means that the players need to have good reflexes during fights. We can get additional points by hitting several enemies with one shot or eliminate them one by one without missing. We can be rewarded with one of three ranks, bronze, silver and gold, on more than 25 levels. Kirby's Blowout Blast encourages the players to replay the levels and to top their previous scores.

A game which gives us an opportunity to ride ATVs while participating in insane racing events all over the globe. Developed by Nighthawk Interactive, ATV Renegades offers both competition for the best position on the finish line, and for the highest point score, rewarding the player for performing spectacular tricks. A classic career-like mode - the World Tour, constitutes the core element of the experience, but the game also offers quick races in addition to the aforementioned freestyle contests. It is worth mentioning that the in-game vehicles differ in their statistics and performances; as for the rider, the player can customize their appearance to their liking. What is a big advantage of the game, ATV Renegades offers a local multiplayer opportunity to challenge a second player for a split-screen duel. Unfortunately however, the game's visuals are far from satisfactory and can be considered average-quality at best.

While in combat, you can make use of the mechanical arm which enables the heroine to control various debris that lies scattered about. During the journey, you collect blueprints necessary for customizing the looks of your weapons. Viking Rage is a VR tower defense game developed by the German studio N-Gon Entertainment. Players take the role of a Viking whose job is to fend off the enemies who attack his base. Unlike in other tower defense games, we do not build towers, but fight on our own. The game offers a wide array of weaponry for our hero, such as axes, bombs, bows, crossbows, or fancy and elaborate traps. Moving around the game locations happens in a way typical for virtual reality games - our hero teleports from one place on the map to another. The game's visuals are not that sophisticated, but the cartoonish style successfully masks that. Both character models and locations are simply said eye-pleasing.

The player assumes the role of an adventurer, who helps an unfamiliar woman in reaching the roots of the Yggdrasil tree, which is told to hide a gate to the world of gods. The events in Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 are presented from an isometric perspective, and a significant portion of gameplay is about exploration of randomly generated dungeons as well as fighting turn-based battles. Interestingly, both heroes and their adversaries perform actions at the same time – therefore, when you move from one field to another, the enemy may be performing the same action. You take under your command a team of four adventurers, whom you can hire and replace in a town, which serves the role of your base of operation. In the course of the adventure the heroes gain experience and learn new skills as well as class-based special abilities. Brawl of Ages is a free-to-play strategy game that combines elements of card games, real-time strategies, and MOBAs. It was developed by BNA Studios. In Brawl of Ages, the players take part in 3-5 minutes long PvP duels where players send all kinds of monsters against each other in order to destroy the enemy player's base. We achieve victory by destroying our opponent's Throne, his main tower defended by two smaller watchtowers. In order to breach the enemy defenses, we have to use cards from the card deck we've prepared earlier. Playing a card may have various results. Usually it will summon a new unit to the battlefield, but it is possible to build an additional defensive or production structure, place a totem that will power up warriors in its range, or cast a destructive spell that will damage all nearby enemy units. We cannot manually control our units, they are controlled by a simple artificial intelligence, similar to those we can see in tower defense games. After being dropped on the map in a place of our choosing, our characters will automatically go in the direction of our enemy's fortifications and automatically attack hostile targets encountered along the way. We can play against our friends or randomly selected players.

By jumping you rotate the tiles near your avatar, changing their color to match it. If someone else steps onto your tile, they drop out of the game. When rotating the tiles you can earn various power-ups which e.g. increase your speed or the number of the rotated tiles. Some tiles, however, are immobile and cannot be rotated; if you know the mechanics well enough, you can use it to your advantage. Project Mekuru's multiplayer mode allows 4 players to play with each other at once, either online or using just one console. The visuals are quite simple — on the screen you see only the boards and the colorful characters wearing futuristic suits.

A combat simulator which places the player in control of a starfighter. Developed by an independent British team - Mad About Games Studios Ltd., the game was inspired by space simulators from the 90s. Starfighter Origins is set in a futuristic world, where humans explore space and pirates are waiting among asteroids for unarmed transport ships and other easy loot. The player assumes the role of a pilot working for the Colonial Defense Force - a law enforcement group that use various kinds of combat ships in order to maintain order in space. The player has six unique ships to fly in the game, including fast, reconnaissance units with powerful radars, classic fighters - they handle well and are well-armed, and heavily-armored support craft. Eliminating the enemies involves use of both rapid-fire cannons and auto-targeting missiles. When fighting, the player must pay attention to how much resources they have left - both fuel and ammunition, as not every mission gives an opportunity to re-fuel the ship and refill ammunition. The game delivers exclusively a single-player experience. The four modes available include the story campaign, the Simulation and the Challenge modes (a series of independent scenarios), and the Instant Action mode. The last of these requires the player to choose a difficulty level at the beginning; both the battlefield and type of enemies are assigned randomly.

We are given fifty different types of vehicles, while their crews and other units are described by a number of statistics that influence their behavior on the battlefield. The enemy forces are controlled by an advanced AI module that learns and responds to our actions. The battles are especially spectacular thanks to a complex physics engine that governs the effect the projectiles have on vehicles, objects, and environment, as well as a dynamic weather and day and night cycle. During the game, one can attempt to solve puzzles, complete assignments that boost one’s skills, purchase better pieces of gear, and devote oneself to complete secondary tasks. The matches themselves are based on authentic golf rules. In the game, however, the matches themselves are of highly arcade nature and take place on various golf courses – from the typical grass fields to the special water locations with drifting rafts and crocodiles.

A new installment in the Kunio-kun series of classic beat ’em up games developed by Arc System Works. Once again, the player assumes the role of Kunio. He is tasked with finding Riki's missing girlfriend and solving the mystery related to the thugs that attacked him. While playing River City: Rival Showdown, the player is constantly moving to the right and fighting legions of enemies. In the battles the player uses fists, legs and acquired weapons to attack the enemies. The player must not only be fast, but also control two parameters – HP that represents the health of Kunio and SP, the energy that is used for performing special attacks. While progressing in the game, the protagonist gains experience that enables him to become stronger and face greater opponents. Similarly to the previous entries in the series, the game features pixel art graphics.

A racing game by the creators of Velocity and Coconut dodge, developed for PlayStation VR. In Tiny Trax you control toy cars and race on several wacky tracks in such locations as e.g. the jungle or a space station. The tracks are full of obstacles, ramps, and other elements. The cars are not bound by the laws of physics, as they can even ride up a wall. They can also use speed boosters to accelerate, but first they have to fill a special bar by drifting. Tiny Trax features a multiplayer mode for three players, but you can also play on your own against AI-controlled opponents. The game's atmosphere is bright and lively, matching the cartoonish and colorful visuals. The immersive experience is amplified by the VR technology.

Pokemon Ultra Moon is yet another installment of the popular RPG series developed by Game Freak for Nintendo handheld consoles. It was released along with Pokemon Ultra Sun as the improved versions of the 7th generation handheld consoles launch titles, Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. Once again, we play as a novice Pokemon trainer who desires to become the very best trainer in the world. The game comes with an alternative version of the story we saw in the series' previous installment, offers new types of Pokemon (some available only in this version), and offers some new and changed locations. Nothing has changed in terms of gameplay. We explore the game’s world, do quests, catch more and more Pokemon, and take part in turn-based duels with other trainers. Pokemon Ultra Moon supports the PokeBank app that allows us to transfer Pokemon caught in other games of the series.

A shoot'em up game developed by the independent developer Space Lizard Studio. In the game, the player assumes control of young dragons tasked with fighting an army of hostile robots called Mechaliches, who were able to conquer the protagonists' home planet and kidnap their mother. During the game, the character constantly moves rightwards, eliminates hordes of enemies, and avoids the ever-present obstacles. Of course, one's protégés are not defenseless - they acquire new power-ups allowing them to use machine guns, laser weapons, and cannons. Moreover, as one progresses through the game, they acquire points giving access to various special abilities assigned separately to each weapon. Dragon Bros allows the player to enjoy both single and cooperative local multiplayer modes. Interestingly enough, completed stages of the game can be replayed, e.g. to achieve a higher score - moreover, one can test their skills by playing the game on a higher difficulty level. As the game has been inspired by the classic shoot’em up games, it delivers old-school pixel-art visuals and the dedicated soundtrack written by Gabriel Caruso, who in his works combines modern sound with chiptune music.

RPG with an open world, set in the medieval European-inspired land of Eogaan. The player takes on the role of Damien Clive, who tries to recover his honour after falling victim to betrayal. There are many ways to go about the main plot as well as the tasks to be undertaken in the course of an adventure. In the course of the game we develop the character: we acquire new skills and gain more and more powerful equipment. All of this was enriched with decent graphics.

A dynamic and demanding platform game in a retro setting. Developed by Gamera Interactive, Unit 4 focuses on the adventures of four alien special agents trying to save their star system from inevitable doom. An army of evil aliens has invaded the protagonists’ home planet and stolen a sacred artifact. Since similar robberies have occurred on other planets, the entire system is slowly falling into its demise, as it cannot function without the aforementioned artifacts. Traveling aboard their spaceship, the main protagonists visit numerous planets and fight the alien minions of evil in search for a way to defeat the enemy and retrieve the life-giving artifacts. To travel to a planet, one has to open the galactic map and freely control the spaceship represented on it. When on a planet’s surface, the main protagonists can move in two dimensions - jump on moving platforms, glide, hang from walls and ceilings, as well as fight the enemy forces. Each character features a unique skill set, such as Double Jump or Deadly Dash. Since the players can freely switch between controlled characters, one can quickly combine their special moves into stunning combos. Alternatively, one can join their friends in a local cooperative mode, and play Unit 4 together, with each character assigned to one player.

A hybrid of a third-person perspective action game and a fighting game developed by Team Ninja. The game enables the players to control characters known from the main installments of the Final Fantasy series. The title is an improved and expanded port of a game that debuted in 2015 on Japanese arcade cabinets. Dissidia Final Fantasy NT doesn’t feature a dedicated, complex story mode, but the duels have a narrative, illustrated with cutscenes and dialogues. As for the mechanics, the title is a three-dimensional fighting game. Two three-person teams face each other on small arenas. The players can choose from more than 20 characters divided into four classes. Various classes feature different skills and serve different roles on the battlefield. The objective of the game is to eliminate the opponents by reducing their health to zero. After winning, the players receive experience points and money that enable them to unlock new weapons, skills and character skins.
