Rouge Operatives is played in rounds, during which the job of the agents is to track and eliminate all the rogues; the latter, on the other hand, have to remain undetected until the end of the round. What is innovative about this game however, is that although the agents are rather typical figures running around with firearms, the rogues were gifted with a unique ability to disguise themselves as different objects of the in-game environment, such as barrels, buckets, packages, shovels, rakes or ladders. This special ability allows the rogues to become one with the environment, which makes it easier to stay hidden. Additionally, both sides can make use of the various power-ups scattered throughout the maps.

Adventure, 2D, Puzzle Elements, Indie Games, Platformers, Polish, Singleplayer.

A mix of a platform game and logic game developed by Polish Toucan Studio. The plot of Selma and the Wisp focuses on the titular character – Selma, a girl who, being a witness to horrible events taking place in her house, decides to hide in her wardrobe. Surprisingly, she discovers a passageway to an eerie, gloomy world. The game is a classic side-scroller, but unusually, we take control of two characters simultaneously: the main heroine, as well as the levitating wisp i.e. St. Elmo’s fire. Exploration of the levels involves jumping over chasms, avoiding traps, and solving various environmental puzzles. Additionally, our unusual companion lights the way, and collects smaller wisps to increase his power. The game is characteristic for its high difficulty level, as well as remarkably atmospheric two-dimensional visuals.

A first-person shooter created by Oasis Games for VR goggles; Pixel Gear was released exclusively for PlayStation 4. The game is set in a Gothic-inspired scenery and the graphics were based here on large voxels, which makes it resemble Minecraft. The player takes on the role of a gunslinger whose task is to eliminate the approaching enemies - those can be skeletons, ghosts, bats or bosses such as dragons. Effective weapon management is the key to success here, apart from using special abilities (the player can slow down the passage of time for example). The game features many weapons, such as pistols, shotguns or machine guns. Pixel Gear is played from a first-person view. Although the player cannot move, they can look around freely by moving their head. Motion controller on the other hand, is used for aiming.

A web-based hockey arcade game, focusing on pvp gameplay. Hockey stars utilizes the free-to-play model with optional microtransactons. Like the previous Miniclip's production, Soccer Stars, Hockey Stars is a simple game inspired by coin football. Two five-person teams are pitted against each other and their task is to put the puck in the opponent's goal. The puck bounces of the edges of the pitch, but can also be controlled by the player, which allows for more precise strikes. The games take place on several pitches located in various parts of the world, and every pitch features different conditions of victory. Each won game earns you new fans, level-ups, and virtual money, which you can use to buy better team members or formations. You can not only play single games, but also participate in tournaments, which can yield you attractive prizes. Hockey Stars features simple but nice 2D graphics, which fit the casual style of the game.

It provides us with nearly a hundred challenges in which we can drive licensed Monster Jam vehicles. Similarly to its predecessor, the game is meant only for solo play, and the only element of player competition are the internet leaderboards. Graphics-wise, Monster Jam: Crush It! progressed in comparison to the previous installment of the series, making use of Unreal Engine 4. One of the title’s strengths is the game's soundtrack, recorded by the experienced Deon Voss.

A real-time strategy with shooter and tower defense features from Thiemo Bolder. We play as an intelligent computer system, who task is to protect its servers from unwanted visitors and viruses. Gameplay employs three different mechanics, borrowed from shooters (eliminating threats with 21 various weapons), tower defense games (building sentries) and RTS battles (recapturing sections of system taken by intruders). RAM is our only resource here, produced by ourselves and then used to upgrade our offensive and defensive capabilities and in battles. As we progress through the game, we evolve from a simple analog system into powerful AI machine through leveling up by completing more and more difficult stages.

An advanced railway simulator developed by Dovetail Games, a developer known from the popular Train Simulator series. Train Sim World: CSX Heavy Haul follows in the same vein, yet is treated as a separate project based on new technology. Unfortunately, this means that the title is not compatible with numerous add-ons released for the Train Simulator series. As always, the gameplay involves controlling various railway engines and traversing numerous railways found all around the world. Moreover, the players can create their own tracks thanks to the included editor. The game contains both single and multiplayer modes. Interestingly enough, the game is powered by Unreal Engine 4, an engine used in titles such as Final Fantasy VII Remake, Days Gone, or Gears of War 4. As a result, the new incarnation of the railway series received multiple fixes, as well as improved graphics and physics.

A mobile RPG with turn-based combat system, developed by an in-house studio of Square Enix. Guardian Codex takes place in the year 2030. The planet was split by a conflict between the Empire and the Resistance. When the second faction is pushed to defense, it decides to use a different tactic and sends their agents to the titular Codex, a virtual version of old times. The player that assumes the role of one of such agents is tasked with finding the legendary creatures known as Guardians and taking them to real world where they can be used against the Empire. The mechanics of the game are typical for classic Japanese RPGs in which the player is exploring, completing quests, speaking with other characters and fighting the enemies in a turn-based system. The combat is important since defeating the Guardians enables the player to make them join his party and the gameplay is focused mostly on collecting and developing them.

Puzzle, 3D Image, Singleplayer, Nintendo Exclusive.

Another installment in a series of logic games; it was created specifically for Nintendo 3DS. The player's goal here is to paint appropriate cubes in such a way so that models hidden inside of them can be revealed. The game was based on the rules of a puzzle created by Non Ishida - a Japanese graphics designer. Although the gameplay resembles Minesweeper for PC, the environments are three-dimensional. Blocks can be rotated freely and digits that are visible on particular cubes (the blocks are made of those) inform the player about the number of neighboring cubes they should paint with a given color. If cubes get painted in the correct color, they disappear, revealing a fragment of the model hidden inside the block. Managing to color the entire block of cubes correctly results in the entire model being revealed to the player, which can represent characters created by Nintendo for example. In Picross 3D Round 2, two new colors were added, as well as more complex models hidden in particular puzzles. The game supports the Amiibo protocol, thus the player can digitalize the figurines they own.
