Beyond Astra

Beyond Astra is a debut for the French studio Nebule Games. It is a 4X strategy game inspired by the classics like Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri and the Master of Orion series. The game allows us to build a cosmic empire in real time on a large, growing and randomly generated map. We can transition from the cosmic view to the land without a loading screen, simply by zooming in the view.

Gameplay

We start the adventure in Beyond Astra on an unknown planet. We are building a society from scratch, taking into account factors such as climate needs and the ability to adapt to the environment. The level of consciousness as well as the political and cultural tendencies of the developing civilization also have significance. The three primary skill trees include Science, Culture, and Religion, and victory is ensured by achieving one of seven Civilization style conditions: Economic, Military, Diplomatic, Scientific, Cultural, Religious, or Points.
