Borderlands Collection: Pandora's Box

Borderlands Collection: Pandora's Box is a compilation of six Borderlands games, developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games. It includes: Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Tales from the Borderlands, Borderlands 3 and New Tales from the Borderlands, as well as all the DLC in the series released before September 1, 2023.

Plot

Borderlands Collection: Pandora's Box is set in a sci-fi universe. The series' protagonists are vault hunters, space adventurers seeking legendary vaults holding priceless treasures, often saving the world along the way. Though the first two installments are set on the planet Pandora, the subsequent games will also take us to other planets and moons. The games are very humorous and don't always take themselves seriously.

Mechanics

Borderlands , Borderlands 2 , Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 3 are first-person looter shooters. The playable characters differ in terms of their classes, preferred weapons and abilities. Players must complete main missions and side quests, traversing large, diverse locations (on foot or in vehicles), facing down hordes of enemies; aside from regular foes we'll also face powerful bosses. Our mostly futuristic roster of weapons is very diverse as well. As we progress through the game, we develop our characters and acquire better weapons; they're randomly generated, differ in stats and unique properties, making it near impossible to find two identical guns.

Tales from the Borderlands and New Tales from the Borderlands are narrative adventure games - the former was developed by Telltale Games, while the latter retains its formula. Most of the gameplay is spent traversing locations, following the story, talking to characters and making choices that impact the course of the plot. There are also some arcade elements, QTEs and minigames.

Game modes

Tales from the Borderlands and New Tales from the Borderlands only support singleplayer, while Borderlands , Borderlands 2 , Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 3 support co-op for up to four people.
