A multiplayer action game enriched with a big portion of RTS elements. Conqueror's Blade for PC is a multiplayer action game enriched with elements of real-time strategy; it was created by Booming Games.
The player assumes the leadership of medieval armies during large-scope battles based on PvP rules; up to 30 players can meet in one session. The player is taken to an extensive, open world, and one's task is to build up their area of influence. This is done through participating in open-area battles, besieging enemy strongholds, and if necessary, defending the player's own fortresses.
The player takes on the roles of generals and has direct control of them, observing the action from a third-person view. Various generals differ in terms of their appearances, specialties, as well as the skills they make use of on the battlefield. Reaching subsequent experience levels, the player obtains new skills, which builds up their combat potential. A long list of the available characters encompasses mainly an axeman, a samurai, an archer, and a heavily armored, european knight equipped with a sword and a shield.
Among the units one can use in the game, the player will find light cavalry, english archers, swiss halberdiers or both maltese and japanese knights. Although one's army can be comprised of up to 40 units, high quantity alone usually cannot guarantee a victory – the player succeeds, by giving orders adequate to the current situation on the battlefield, and such factors as time of day, weather or topography. For instance, charging cavalry is much more effective, if it goes down a steep hillside. Using siege machines with efficiency on the other hand, can turn the tide during many battles.
Conqueror's Blade for PC offers high-quality, three-dimensional graphics, as well as a legible head-up display, making it easier to analyze the situation during a battle. The game's energizing soundtrack is also what a lot of players can be fond of.
