Dishonored: Death of the Outsider for PC, PS4 and XONE is a stand-alone action game set in the Dishonored universe. This time we play not as Corvo Attano, but as a new heroine who stands on the other side of the barricade. The game was developed by Arkane Studios, creators of the Dishonored series.

The Plot

In Dishonored: Death of the Outsider for PC, PS4 and XONE we play as Billie Lurk, an extremely deadly assassin with superhuman powers. She is the right hand of Daud, one of the primary villains of the Disonohred series (we had the chance of playing as him in two DLC for the first installment of the series: Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches). Billy, along with her mentor, decides to hunt down The Outsider, a mysterious being that is the source of the supernatural powers used by the series’ heroes. How we fulfill that task, along with the decisions made during our adventure, will have a crucial impact on the game’s world and the plot.

Arkane Studios: Dishonored is Not Suspended

Contrary to reports from 2018, the Dishonored series was not been shelved - Dinga Bakaba from Arkane Studios convinces that the series may come back, but it will tell a completely new story, unrelated to the Kaldwin family.

I know it's not the same as playing the game yourself, but watching someone playing Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is pretty cool too. Especially since you get to see some of the new superpowers in action.

GameSpot: 8 / 10 by Alessandro Fillari

Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider is a solid, inventive, yet somewhat subdued capper to the stories from the previous Dishonored games. While the smaller scope can be felt throughout, the approach to allowing players to express themselves as a master assassin is just as strong as ever.

By the time Death of the Outsider comes to a close, Billie's gone through the ringer. It's not the longest expansion out there, and it seems to miss a step or two in the main plot, but there's more than enough for anyone who appreciated the moment-to-moment formula of Dishonored 2. Billie Lurk never had it easy, but after her last job, it's finally time to rest. And that's more than a fitting farewell for one of the best video game franchises in recent memory.
