Far Cry 6 Expansion Pack
FC6 - Pagan: Control
Release Date: January 11, 2022
Pagan: Control is the second big expansion pack for Far Cry 6, allowing you to delve into the mind of the titular antagonist known from the 4th installment of the series and learn his secrets.
Pagan: Control is the second big expansion for the first-person shooter Far Cry 6. Both productions were developed and published by Ubisoft. To play the DLC you need the basic version of the game.
In this DLC we take on the role of the villain from the 4th part of the series - Pagan Min - and together with him we delve into his warped mind encountering familiar faces and places. During the game we learn details about the antagonist's past and witness his struggle with guilt and regret.
Set on a new open-world map inspired by the Himalayan landscapes of Far Cry 4, the expansion adds the roguelite elements of FC6 - if you die during the game, you lose your progress and items you carry and start over with only redeemed bonuses, weapons hidden in safe locations, and unlocked paths. Locations are designed to be explored multiple times through randomly generated content, allowing to face new challenges and different enemies each time.
The game can be played in single player mode or cooperatively by two players connected via a network.

Far Cry is a series of first-person shooters (FPS) with a sandbox gameplay model. The leading theme of the series is spectacular shootouts using modern firearms, but the developers are not afraid to experiment and from time to time serve players a trip to completely different realities, such as distant prehistory (where rifles and flamethrowers are replaced by bows and machetes) or an alternative world in the climate of cyberpunk (where cyborg soldiers fight using laser weapons). The series allows us to drive vehicles, including jeeps or boats with machine guns, and sometimes to ride animals (such as elephants). Starting with the third installment, RPG-like elements, such as crafting and character skill development, began to enter the series. Later installments were also equipped with level editors.
Far Cry 6 will soon enable us to see the mind of another villain. After Vaas, it's time for the fan favorite from part four.

Game Ratings for Far Cry 6 - Pagan: Control Video Game.
Capsule Computers: 6 / 10 by Travis Bruno
Pagan: Control remains a solid enough roguelite through new story elements but retreads old ground mechanically in what appears to be a troublesome pattern with Far Cry 6's DLC.
Gameffine: by Uphar Dutta
Pagan: Control is a fantastic DLC. It offers an entirely different environment, that is unique to itself. It adds more depth to people who previously enjoyed Far Cry 4. The game looks stunning on higher graphics and next-gen consoles. The gameplay feels smooth, fast and action-filled at all times. Although, we do think that there could be more memories or events from Far Cry 4 for Pagan’s eyes that we saw as Ajay. You can play the DLC on co-op even if one of you owns the DLC.
IGN: 6 / 10 by Jon Ryan
Far Cry 6's second DLC pack is an interesting look at a classic villain, but it lacks much variety and its roguelike elements clash with the series' free-form style that made the base game so enjoyable.
