A game which combines first-person online shooter mechanics with elements of sandbox games such as Minecraft. It was developed by the independent studio, Blowfish. The game features unique, pixel art visuals and a single player story campaign which can be completed either by sticking to the storyline or re-shaping it by taking different actions.

A shooter from Arena FPS genre developed by the German studio Reakktor Media and inspired by FPP shooters from the 90s. The story of TOXIKK takes place in the 22nd century, when mega-corporations and cartels took over the Earth after a global energy crisis. Two of such companies play major role in the game: EXOCOM and DRAYOS, competing for EDEN – a recently discovered mineral that can remedy the energy problems of the world.

A special remastered edition of the two popular first-person shooters: Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, developed primarily with 8th-generation consoles in mind. The story of the Metro series revolves around a youngster named Artem and presents a post-apocalyptic vision of the world in which the humanity fights for survival after a nuclear apocalypse. The action of Metro 2033 takes place in the tunnels of the Moscow subway that now shelters the survivors from dangerous mutants.

A colorful, cartoonish stationary first-person shooter developed by small Australian studio Nnnooo. The gameplay in Blast ’Em Bunnies focuses on eliminating waves of aggressive rabbits. During the game the player cannot move freely, being tied to a single firing position. Eight types of enemies can be found in the game; they differ from each other in terms of speed, toughness, and tactic, and becoming increasingly stronger with each wave.

FPS rail-shooter type, inspired by a comic book entitled Blue Estate, written by Viktor Kalvachev. The game was created by French studio HeSaw. The production is distinguished by a specific humour abounding in various kinds of absurdities. The player takes turns into the son of a mafia boss, who tries to bounce the abducted stripper, and into a mercenary trying to stop the raging war of gangs. You can play on your own or in a two-person cooperation mode.

Cult County is a survival horror adventure game in which events are shown from the first person perspective (FPP). The story takes place in a desert town in Texas, where the protagonist finds himself in search of a sister. He finds an atmosphere of fear and distrust caused by sinister cultists, and soon comes to fight for survival. The game combines a dramatic struggle with exploratory elements in locations with a partially open structure.

A multiplayer-only first-person shooter/role playing game developed by Frog Factory. The story of Heathen was inspired by The Island of Dr. Moreau, a cult-classic novel by H.G. Wells describing a mysterious island inhabited by Beast Folk, human-animal hybrids created by the aforementioned scientist. After the death of its benefactor, the island has been rediscovered by a biologist and an entrepreneur, who had picked up the research in order to create a source of cheap workforce for humanity.
Killzone: Shadow Fall - Intercept

Intercept is a large addition (also functioning in a stand-alone form) to the game Killzone: Shadow Fall, which includes a cooperative multiplayer mode for four players. Participants of the game play the role of vector agents, whose task is to defend themselves against attacking Helghans (controlled by the SI) until the successful completion of data transmission about enemy troops. The clashes take place on four new maps and there are four character classes to choose from.

An online first-person shooter inspired by the greatest battle of the First World War. This is the debut of Blackmill Games - a Dutch team. The game is set in the years 1916-1918. The player takes on the roles of either French or German soldiers fighting on the Western Front, participating in exhausting battles near Vauquois, Argonne, Vosges and Caures. The game offers four modes; in the main one, teams of four players compete against one another.
Islands of Nyne: Battle Royale

An online first-person shooter introducing a massive multiplayer mode inspired by the Japanese novel/manga Battle Royale and The Hunger Games. We assume the role of the participants of sadistic games held by a race of barbarous, high-tech aliens. The story is just a pretext to the actual game, though, as Islands of Nyne: Battle Royale is a multiplayer-only title with gameplay modes for up to 100 players.
Destiny: Rise of Iron

Another major expansion to the multiplayer FPS by Bungie Software, published in autumn 2014. Destiny: Rise of Iron is the first expansion available exclusively for the 8th generation of consoles and it requires the previous extension, called The Taken King, to work. The plot revolves around a breach in the wall, located on the southern border of Old Russia, which let hordes of fallen mutants get into the Golden Age graves, filled with valuable artifacts.
Star Wars: Battlefront - Bespin

The expansion includes four new maps, which allow you do visit previously unavailable locations, such as Cloud City or the Administrator's Palace on the eponymous planet Bespin, as well as hunt your opponents in the Bioniip Laboratories and carbon-freezing chambers. On those maps, you can encounter e.g. the iconic AT-AT walkers and take to the skies in a new vehicle called the “cloud car.

The abandoned production was then adapted by Russian studio Frontwire, basing on their predecessors' accomplishments, although the final product has been visibly modernized and given high-quality visuals utilizing the Unreal Engine 4 technology.

Project Nova

A first-person perspective shooter that takes place in the universe of EVE Online. Project Nova is a free-to-play game focused on multiplayer. Instead of a classic single player campaign, the game offers various multiplayer modes. Most of them take place in narrow corridors of ships and space stations – the developers focused on dynamic encounters instead of battles taking place in large open spaces. Project Nova is more like a tactical shooter than an arcade FPS.
Master Levels for Doom II

Developed by id Software in collaboration with GT Interactive, this is a set of additional maps for Doom II: Hell on Earth, released in 1994. The pack, entitled Master Levels for Doom II, includes 20 brand new maps (plus one hidden map), prepared under license and supervision of id Software by several independent artists. Due to the specificity of the set, individual levels have not been combined into larger episodes like the parent game, and each of them constitutes a separate whole.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III - Eclipse

The second DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. It is a part of the season pass available only on PCs and eighth generation consoles. As in case of previous installments in the series, the expansion offers two main elements. First one is another chapter of the cooperation zombie mini-campaign called Zetsubou no Shima. During this chapter the heroes who are facing an invasion of living dead are going to a small island on the Pacific Ocean, where secret experiments are conducted.
