After the board game Gloomhaven achieved artistic and commercial success, over time it was succeeded by Frosthaven. Similar to the original, the second of the mentioned positions was adapted into a video game format. We are talking about a production under the same title, combining elements of RPG and tactical turn-based game. It was developed by Snapshot Games studio, known for Chaos Reborn and Phoenix Point.

Gameplay

In Frosthaven the action is viewed in an isometric perspective. The game transports us to the dark fantasy universe, created for the needs of Gloomhaven (and its digital adaptation). We get to know the story set in it by completing quests as part of the campaign.

Combat and character classes

Battles with opponents play an important role here. Combat takes place in a turn-based mode, on arenas covered with grids of hexagonal fields.
