Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

An arcade twin-stick shooter game focused around a co-op experience. It was developed by Rusto Games - a small developer team specializing in production of mobile games. Spareware takes the player to a dystopian, futuristic version of Helsinki, where the machines start a rebellion against humans. The player assumes the role of a robot allied with humanity, whose task is to reach the so-called Core and set free the friendly HelOS AI.
Metal Assault

Network shooter made with the use of classic two-dimensional graphics. The action takes place in the futuristic city of HERZ, and players play one of the four solidly armed characters. The game resembles a combination of a platformer and a shooter. The authors took care of a large selection of missions for both single player and multi-player games.
Battlefield Hardline: Betrayal

An expanded edition of the warmly received platform game developed by Moon studio in 2015. The story of Ori and the Blind Forest focuses on the titular spirit of the forest who is trying to learn something about itself and the world that surrounds it. The game lacks any dialogues and the story is told by using the gameplay and mute cutscenes. As for the mechanics, the game belongs to the subgenre called metroidvania.

As befits a platform game, Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight features a side-view camera, which scrolls as you fight your way through locations filled with enemies.

We play as a knight cutting his way through hordes of monsters on randomly generated maps. We must avoid traps and other dangers, collect items and fight enemies, including powerful bosses.
We Are The Dwarves

Developed by an independent Ukrainian studio, Whale Rock Games, a game combining action, tactical battles, and RPG. The plot is set in an SF universe, in which a race of dwarves extracts vital forces and strength from magic artifacts knows as Endless Stones. At some point the artifacts begin to lose their power and the civilization built upon them is pushed to the brink of extinction, so the dwarves sent an expedition with in hope of finding a new home with a new source of energy.

The game was developed by Totem Arts, a studio established by the fans of the series, and its action is set in the popular C&C universe. The game’s world is inspired by typical American landscapes, such as national parks, the Mississippi Delta, or Bayou.
