Goblin Stone PC

Goblin Stone is a tactical RPG with a turn-based combat system, which is the debut project of the independent Orc Chop Games studio.

Plot

The action takes place in a fantasy world. The game tells the story of a group of goblins who managed to survive the slaughter carried out by adventurers. In order for to avoid extinction, the goblins must traverse the land, gain strength, rebuild the numbers of their army, and ultimately eliminate the heroes hunting them.

Mechanics

In Goblin Stone, we command a group of goblins, leading them on adventures in a world full of dangers and giving them orders during turn-based battles. In skirmishes, the positioning of characters and the efficient use of their class-specific special abilities play a key role.

The game is enriched with strategic elements in the form of managing a goblin colony in which we build various rooms. We invest the treasures and resources gathered during adventures in its development. We also engage in well-planned breeding of goblins, selecting individuals that have the traits we most desire.

Adventures are procedurally generated so that there are always fresh challenges waiting for the player. Every death in the game is final, forcing careful management of the resources of our goblin colony.

Game modes

The game only supports singleplayer.

Technical aspects

Goblin Stone has graphics combining two-dimensional and 3D elements, all done in a cartoon style. The gameplay is accompanied by the soundtrack composed by Peter McConnell, known as the author of music for Hearthstone.
