In God Forsaken, we can find various character classes with unique talent trees; however, there are also universal gear and basic skills for all classes. The gameplay is primarily about dealing with large groups of enemies and powerful bosses.

Our journey through a grim fantasy land, where light has begun to give way to darkness and monsters roam under the cover of night, begins with the selection of a character class. We have at our disposal a warrior, hunter, sorcerer, and necromancer, among others. Although each profession is equipped with unique talent trees, regardless of our choice, we can make use of any weapon and initial skills.

Character skill development is enabled by special extensions modeled after the skill runes from Path of Exile, allowing for great freedom in creating character builds. As we progress, we also gather new equipment, which is randomly generated.

Battles with opponents and fighting the Darkness

The adventure takes us through various locations, including ancient ruins and dungeons shrouded in darkness. As we explore them, we mainly focus on eliminating hordes of enemies. They often attack in waves, similar to arena survival productions.

The battles are dynamic, and on our path, we encounter both regular adversaries, who appear in large numbers, and more powerful opponents serving as bosses. The sheer number of enemies means that we must constantly be on the move on the battlefield, juggling attacks and combat abilities while avoiding getting hit.

Darkness also poses a danger to our character. It leads to the gradual degradation of their mental health while simultaneously strengthening the monsters that cross our path. The remedy against its destructive influence is lighting a torch.
