A sequel of the first-person action adventure game from 2019, designed for VR headsets. GORN 2 allows us to become a gladiator and to enter a heavenly kingdom. We must face both hordes of standard enemies, as well as more powerful godly sons. There is a campaign mode, an endless mode and a custom mode for creating our own arenas.
GORN 2 is a sequel of the 2019 action adventure game. Just like its predecessor, it was created with VR headsets in mind. The game was developed by the same Free Lives studio (which also has such titles as Broforce, Genital Jousting or Terra Nil in its portfolio). This was done in cooperation with the Cortopia team.
In GORN 2 we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP).
During the game, we once again take on the role of a gladiator, who this time ends up in a heavenly kingdom. Apart from all the opponents he has defeated in the previous game, the divine sons who are the local champions are also waiting for him there. Faced with such a challenge, he has no choice but to take up arms and fight for his life.
Combat is the main element of the gameplay. The game takes to different arenas. We must eliminate hordes of enemies, making use of melee weapons and ranged weapons, and sometimes also the protagonist's fists. The clashes are dynamic, and the key to success on the battlefield is landing accurate blows and avoiding attacks, as well as dodging traps. Apart from regular adversaries, much more powerful bosses stand in our way.
As we progress, we acquire better equipment and various enhancements, which over time allows us to face increasingly greater challenges.
The main mode in GORN 2 is a campaign in which we go through heavenly lands and triumph in their arenas. In addition to this, there is an endless mode to check out, where we face successive waves of enemies, as well as a custom mode, which allows us to create our own battlefields.
Similar to the original, the graphic design of GORN 2 has been maintained in a style reminiscent of Team Fortress 2. Even though the whole thing is colorful, due to its brutality (blood is everywhere and severed limbs are flying around the arenas), it is a game intended for adult audiences.
A physics engine is overseeing the arena combat. It is responsible for things like the weight of individual weapons, as well as the behavior of enemy bodies (and their severed parts).

Game Ratings for GORN 2 Video Game.
CGMagazine: 10 / 10 by Justin Wood
While the original GORN was a standout VR title for its time, GORN 2 is miles above it in almost every conceivable way. It doesn't just hold up-it dominates.
Game Rant: 5 / 10 by Dalton Cooper
Gorn 2 is more of the same, which means it offers plenty of over-the-top violence, but there's not much beyond the silly combat.
Impulsegamer: 3.5 / 5
A safe, yet solid sequel to one of the silliest VR slap fests around.
