Hearts of Iron IV: Graveyard of Empires is an add-on (country pack) for the highly popular strategy game from the Paradox Development Studio team. The DLC enriches the base version with content related to countries located in Western, Central and South Asia, between the Euphrates and the Bay of Bengal.

New features in the expansion

Hearts of Iron IV: Graveyard of Empires brings national focus trees for four countries.

  1. Iran is facing pressure from the British Empire and the Soviet Union, and thanks to the tree of national goals, it can not only resist their attacks, but also attempt to create a new incarnation of the Persian Empire.
  2. In India, the independence resistance movement against the British is growing stronger, and their tree of national goals allows for the revival of the East India Company (in the form of a corporate state) or the restoration of the Mughal Empire.
  3. Iraq, which consists of a number of ethnic and religious factions, could gain its own identity by adopting the doctrine of Pan-Arabism and joining the Axis against the Allies. Its high position on the international arena is ensured by the oil fields.
  4. Afghanistan, not without reason called the graveyard of empires, can both maintain its current isolation and neutrality, and start the process of rapid industrialization, joining the industrial "arms race".

The list of new features introduced in the DLC also includes graphics related to individual countries, portraits of leaders of each of them, as well as three-dimensional models of units - from infantry, through elephants, to vehicles.
