A card game about the most famous superheroes and villains from the Marvel universe. Marvel Snap offers dynamic but strategically challenging gameplay and focuses on online clashes between players.
Marvel Snap is a card strategy game with dynamic gameplay, using the full potential of the characters and villains created by Marvel.
Although the title is a representative of the CCG (Collectible Card Game) genre, several elements were implemented in it differently from many other popular productions of this type. Although the game is also observed from top-down view and you arrange your cards on a visible board, it is not divided into distinct zones, and the gameplay itself is much more dynamic. Each round takes about three minutes, and players don't wait for an opponent's move to make their own, but take simultaneous actions. Thus, in addition to strategic thinking, it is also important to make quick decisions and adapt to changes in the balance of power on the board. The decks with which we play duels are built from twelve cards among all those we have unlocked so far. This makes their formation faster and easier, while maintaining the strategic depth typical of the genre. All cards have their strength expressed numerically, as well as additional effects, released in appropriate situations (such as when we place cooperating cards next to each other).
Each duel takes place in three locations. To win, we must gain the upper hand in two of them. A fight is won when, after playing all the cards, their summed strength is higher than that of the opponent. We achieve this by judiciously eliminating the opponent's characters, deriving attacks with their characters having higher coefficients. For victory we receive points called Cosmic Cubes - as we fight the battle their number increases, and additionally we can increase it on our own (if we decide that we are close to winning and it is worth taking the risk). For the points earned we unlock more cards and place them in our collection.
The game is designed for two-person play over a network and is entirely based on 1vs1 duels. We can fight both training and ranking clashes.
The cards and game boards have been made in a colorful style, and all characters have been recreated faithfully with the comic book originals. Some of the cards come in different variants, referring to the appearance of characters from specific movies or series, while all of them have their variations presented by a different style of execution: some were realized in cell shading technique, others in pixel art, etc. At the time of the game's release, there were 150 cards in total, and the number began to increase with subsequent seasons.

Yes, mobile games are still games, and as such they deserve a ranking. This market is growing steadily, and 2022 saw some interesting entries, some of which are simply good ports of full-fledged PC titles.

In 2022, we had at least a few big, high-budget productions that, in order to get to the top, had to use the solutions of their predecessors. This list, on the other hand, includes indie games that the pressure of producers didn't give a damn.
The US has been bracing for the upcoming TikTok ban for months, but no one (even the developers) expected popular mobile game, Marvel Snap, to be caught in the crossfire.

Halloween has come to Marvel SNAP much earlier. The October season brings with it a lot of news from slightly darker Marvel Comics stories.

Game Ratings for Marvel Snap Video Game.
IGN: 8 / 10 by Cam Shea
Marvel Snap packs bold ideas, deep gameplay, a punchy presentation and lots of love for Marvel. Its approach to building a collection and randomness in gameplay won't be for everyone, but it's still well worth playing.
God is a Geek: 8 / 10 by Chris White
Marvel SNAP is a straightforward deck-builder, with simple mechanics and gorgeous card designs that'll keep you playing.
TheGamer: 4 / 5 by Eric Switzer
Marvel Snap is a highly polished and impeccably designed game that is going to grow and flourish for years to come. It feels early access in a lot of ways thanks to some missing and underbaked features, but the core is rock solid. Collecting cards is fun, building decks is easy, and matches only last a couple of minutes. It’s the perfect on-the-go game, and my favorite CCG right now.
