Renowned Explorers: International Society released on PC is the second production developed by Abbey Games known for the god game strategy – Reus. This time the title relates to films featuring Indiana Jones, novels by Jules Verne, and successful XCOM: Enemy Unknown.

Mechanics

You take control of the 19th century explorers who search for legendary treasures in order to present them on an international exhibition and thus earn fame and respect and, at the same time, bring shame on rivals. As always, nothing comes easy – you need to go through lost cities and untamed wilderness, and face other explorers along with mythical creatures. The artefacts you find are kept in a museum which gains reputation with each journey and new treasure you bring in.
