Game mechanics

Sengoku Dynasty recreates life in medieval Japan by combining elements of survival, action RPG and simulation. We observe the events from a first-person perspective, and the action takes place in a huge open world, providing great freedom of exploration.

Our job is to collect resources and expand the settlement. Along with the progress in the game new inhabitants settle there and with time it can transform into a bustling city. Nothing stands in the way of eventually building several such metropolises, although this is not an easy task.

The game offers extensive gameplay mechanics. Under the crafting and building system, we have to produce tools, weapons, food and medicine. It is also necessary to cultivate the land. Our duties also include managing the family and settlers by developing their skills. Sooner or later our hero will die, but if he has a descendant we can continue the game playing himself.

Combat plays an important role, both against animals and other people. Among the weapons we can find spears, swords, bows and firearms. Each type of weapon must be thoroughly studied so that we can produce it and wield it efficiently during battles.

The game offers a lot of freedom to shape the lives of our characters. This is done in the framework of four so-called The Ways of Life. If we choose the The Way of the Leader, we'll focus on managing our subordinates, trade, family development and creating alliances. The Way of the Craftsman focuses on constructing buildings and items. The Way of the Warrior means fighting enemies and hunting animals, and the Way of the Monk allows you to serve deities, meditate and seek mystical places. All these paths can be combined together, so we are not limited to only one.

Game modes

Sengoku Dynasty offers a story mode, with an extensive scenario and missions, and a sandbox variant, offering full freedom to shape our hero's life.

The game allows you to play solo or in co-op mode with other players.

Technical aspects

Sengoku Dynasty features attractive 3D graphics. The game is not only pretty, but also very realistic, since during its creation the help of experts in Japanese history and culture was used.
