Stellaris: BioGenesis is the tenth expansion for the space grand strategy titled Stellaris, which debuted in 2016. The add-on was developed by the Paradox Development Studio team, who were also behind the development of the original and other additional content.

New features in the expansion

Stellaris: BioGenesis focuses on genetics. The expansion opens up three paths of development for us, namely cloning, purity, and mutation. We can draw only from one of them, or combine their components, thus creating a unique, personal path.

Genetics also allow us to create living fleets composed of biological ships, including support units and gigantic battleships. The DLC also brings the possibility of encountering a fallen swarm empire managed by a scattered mind combining three personalities.
