A combination of a strategy, a survival game and a life simulation, available in free-to-play form. Stonies is about controlling a prehistoric tribe. We must take care of its members, teaching them how to hunt, build and craft various tools.
The Stone Age is a grateful subject for games on the border of strategy, survival, and life simulation genres. The company Upjers proceeded from such an assumption, preparing Stonies, which is distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.
In Stonies the action is viewed in an isometric view.
During the game, we take control of a primitive tribe. We must teach its members the art of survival. For this purpose, we familiarize them with the secrets of obtaining food, starting a fire, gathering useful resources, as well as building and constructing various equipment.
Under our wings, prehistoric people learn to cut down trees, process stones and wood, and gather forest fruits, and eventually also to hunt (including wolves and yaks). Over time, their ability sets expand, and they have increasingly advanced tools at their disposal, from clubs, through spears, to bows.
As we progress, we can see with our own eyes how our groundwork is bearing fruit, and the place where our tribe lives is turning into a real settlement. Not only houses for its inhabitants are growing in it, but also craft workshops.
The tribe can't survive without the ability to pair its male and female members, who over time enjoy offspring.
Stonies can be played alone or in cooperative mode over the Internet.
