The Elder Scrolls Online Expansion Pack
TESO: High Isle
Release Date: June 6, 2022
High Isle is the sixth chapter, i. e. a major expansion to the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online. The plot focuses on political intrigues and allows you to get to know the Breton race better. The add-on introduces the Tales of Tribute playable card game in the world of ESO.
High Isle is another big expansion (chapter) for The Elder Scrolls Online MMORPG, developed and published by ZeniMax Online. In this add-on we have the opportunity to learn more about the history of Bretons and their knightly culture - this subject has never been touched upon before in TES.
We continue to explore the events of the main storyline started in Ascending Tide - "Legacy of the Bretons" - which is continued by two other, smaller DLCs.
We get to know the beautiful homeland of this race, heirs of both humans and elves, amidst the tense atmosphere of political intrigue of a country on the verge of internal conflict. The High Isle is a frequent meeting place for delegates holding peace talks aimed at ending the Three Banners War. Our main task is to uncover conspiracies of rebellious group of knights led by Ascendant Lord, mysterious figure who wants to possess ancient heritage.
In the chapter we gain access to a new area, a location covering two islands of The Systres - High Isle and Amenos, which combines tropical climate with medieval buildings. We will meet two new companions on our way - Khajiit woman Ember and Breton woman Isobel, with unique skills, personalities and tasks.
Along with the new area, we gain access to a number of attractions - the Dreadsail Reef trial (a twelve-player co-op raid), dungeons, quests, rewards and item sets related to the High Isle, antiquities and world bosses and events.
The expansion introduces a collectible card game playable in the world of ESO - Tales of Tribute. We can play with other players and even NPCs in taverns throughout Tamriel, which in the case of some characters unlocks additional story threads. We receive rewards for playing the games, such as furniture or transmutation stones, and we advance in the internal minigame system.
The expansion requires the basic version of the game to work.

Game Ratings for The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle Video Game.
Hey Poor Player: 4 / 5 by Kenny McKee
The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle is truly a sight to behold. It’s great that we’ve finally gotten to venture to High Isle after all this time, and everything awaiting us there—both the wonderful and the terrifying—was all a joy to experience. The Legacy of the Bretons may not be entirely over just yet, but I think that ESO will be hard-pressed to release anything that would end up topping what this brand-new piece of Tamriel has given us.
Digital Chumps: 8.3 / 10 by Zachary Perry
High Isle brings a beautiful new locale, some lovable characters, and a new card game. While all these additions are wonderful, the core gameplay of High Isle feels incredibly similar to that of previous chapter DLCs. New locations and systems can only go so far to help break up the staleness of the main storyline structure.
COGconnected: 84 / 100 by Mark Steighner
MMORPGs continue to come and go, but only a handful remain really vital and appealing to a broad range of new and faithful players. While not every expansion of Elder Scrolls Online has been equally amazing, each one has deepened and broadened the core experience. With High Isle, ZeniMax and Bethesda tone down the melodrama. In its place are political upheavals, scheming anarchists and an addictive new card game. The Elder Scrolls Online continues to be a dream MMO for both solo players and groups.
