The Last Spell: Tales of Torment

In March 2023, the full version of the tactical RPG with roguelike and strategy elements titled The Last Spell saw the light of day. Over the following years, the studio behind it, Ishtar Games, kept it alive by releasing new expansions. The third of these is The Last Spell: Tales of Torment.

Torments, transformations and other novelties

In The Last Spell: Tales of Torment we serve a god who emerged from the depths of the purple mist and made us a promise, according to which, in exchange for feats performed for him (reminiscent of favors from the basic version of the game), we will receive revelations that are a source of incredible knowledge.

The source of these revelations is the altar, and they give access to unique equipment, led by weapons and armor, useful perks, as well as permanent bonuses that increase our combat potential. We can increase the number of revelations we gain by using memories provided by completing special objectives called katorgas. In addition, we can impose modifiers known as transformations on the gameplay, lasting throughout the night.
