A large Expansion Pack for the popular life simulation from EA Maxis sutido. The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits add-on introduces a new world of Gibbi Point, unique locations, a system of taking part and designing adventures, new Sims stats and new ways of spending free time.
Since 2014, the EA Maxis studio has been focusing on the development of The Sims 4, which is the fourth installment of their best-selling life simulation series. The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits is an expansion pack for this production.
As the title suggests, The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits allows our sims to experience various adventures.
The biggest novelty introduced in this add-on is the world waiting to be visited, namely Gibbi Point. Here we will find a geyser, crystal caves, and a bioluminescent bay. It consists of such locations as the forest Wanderwild, the Crystal Valley with shimmering rock formations, and the coastal Medusa Crossroads.
The expansion introduces a new trips system, for which unique locations and a special planner have been prepared. Individual trips are adventures associated with a specific place, such as fishing in a mountain stream, camping by a fire, or romantic excitement at the Love Highlands resort.
Additionally, the add-on allows our sims to participate in festivals, take part in kayak trips or even train at a sports center (especially useful for those who seriously take on the new "competition lover" trait).
In Gibbi Point, not only adult sims will find something for themselves, but also children. The personality and skills of the latter are influenced by so-called "shaping moments" (such as creating paper decorations, archery, diving, entomology or playing classic games), as well as new traits and feelings. The icing on the cake is the aspiration of being the "coolest kid in the neighborhood", as well as the ability to invent diverse friends for these young sims who have trouble making real friendships.
The list of new features introduced in The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure is topped by the ability to create your own outings. The built-in tools in the add-on allow us to design rooms and choose activities for their participants, as well as set their schedules. Their capabilities are shown by predefined parcels and trips, prepared in cooperation with the community.
The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits is a non-standalone expansion, so it requires the base version of The Sims 4.
