The Slormancer is a hack'n'slash game with roguelike elements. We play the character who fights through dungeons and confronts hordes of minions of the titular Slormancer, who aims to take control of the world. The game was developed by the independent French team Slormite Studios.

Gameplay

In The Slormancer we watch the action from a bird's eye view.

Character classes

The game provides us with characters varied in terms of professions, combat skills, preferred weapons, and fighting style. Playing as a Knight, Huntress, or Mage, we mainly focus on exploring dungeons and eliminating hordes of enemies.

Combat and opponents

The battles are dynamic, and during them we fight in close combat, at a distance, or using magic. On our way, we encounter both standard enemies appearing in large groups, as well as bosses who are more powerful than them. We must be constantly moving and skillfully juggling available attacks and abilities.

Character development and freedom

And speaking of skills - as we progress, we develop our characters, accumulating increasingly powerful equipment (led by weapons). We also unlock various active and passive skills (based on the elements of fire, ice, lightning, light and darkness) and various character upgrades.
