Lightmancer Studios is an indie development team from Brazil. The Sao Paulo studio chose a representative of the hack'n'slash genre with elements of roguelike for their debut project. It is titled BloodRush: Undying Wish. Their sources of inspiration were games such as Hades, Hyper Light Drifter, but also Devil May Cry and Ultrakill.

Gameplay

In BloodRush: Undying Wish we watch the action in an isometric view.

Land devoid of death

During the game, we find ourselves in a dark fantasy land, from which death has disappeared. We play as the Stranger - a mysterious figure trying to restore the lost balance in the world around them. Before we can succeed (or not), we must face hordes of enemies. Our defeat on the battlefield means resurrection and starting a new bloody attempt.

Continuous offensive

It's not hard to die in the game, because our character's health is constantly depleting. The only way to regain it is by absorbing the blood of the enemies we kill. This makes it necessary for us to constantly be on the offensive during the game, trying to attack without interruption.
