Total War: Three Kingdoms - A World Betrayed PC

Total War: Three Kingdoms - A World Betrayed is the third feature add-on to the strategy developed by Creative Assembly. The DLC introduces a new start date of 194 AD (i.e. 4 years after the campaign from the basic version of the game), as well as 2 new factions with their unique mechanics.

Plot

The campaign of the add-on focuses on 2 heroes - Lü Bu and Sun Ce - both found themselves in a situation where they have to take over the legacy from their parents. The first one killed his stepfather, tyrant Dong Zhuo. Now he's trying to create a strong state, and to prove himself against the strongest warriors. The other was a loving son, but his parent was murdered. Sun Ce faces the challenge of defending his fatherhood and avenging a treacherous murder.

Mechanics

The add-on introduces two new factions and everything that goes with it - new events, feature missions, units and mechanics.

Lü Bu is a warrior who wants to prove himself in battle. For defeating enemies he receives initiative points, which serve to unlock actions and bonuses. In addition, Lü faction receives fixed bonuses for winning over exceptionally strong enemies.

Sun Ce is an ambitious ruler who starts the game as a Yuan Shu vassal. In his case, it is the fulfilment of special (not necessarily military) purposes that unlocks fixed bonuses for the faction. In addition, the player who chooses this character for his avatar must take into account the mechanics of luck. Luck allows Sun Ce to expand its boundaries faster, but its pot is constantly decreasing, and when it runs out, then the hero dies. However, fulfilling ambitions may slow down or even stop the process completely.

Well-known leaders such as Cao Cao or Liu Bei (there are 13 playable factions in total) also join the game, who also have to find themselves in new realities and have their own goals and ambitions.

In Total War: Three Kingdoms we can play alone or with other players.
