As the game’s universe draws inspiration from such novels as Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, at the bottom of the ocean you can find bizarre sea monsters, as well as remnants of futuristic buildings and ships. The player assumes the role of a captain of an advanced submarine, and explores the depths of the ocean.

A science fiction horror adventure game created by Frictional Games, Swedish studio known for such titles as Amnesia: The Dark Descent and the Penumbra series. The game is set in a top-secret research center PATHOS-2, where a series of failed experiments resulted in human-like machines killing off most of the staff and taking over the facility. You play as one of the survivors, who has to safely evade the hostile, machine infested environment.

Exploration of the underwater depths is hampered not only by marine predators but also by the need to pay attention to oxygen and compression ratios. Deep Diving Simulator is developed by the Polish studio Jujubee, known from such productions as Kursk or Realpolitiks.

UBOAT

An open world submarine simulator created in Poland by Deep Water Studio. The game takes place during World War II and the player assumes the role of a captain of a German submarine who completes various missions inspired by historical events. Mechanics of UBOOT combine the features of Silent Hunter and Fallout Shelter and the main task of the player is to take care of the crew. One must consider physical and emotional limitations of his subordinates, assign functions to them etc.

A futuristic submarine simulator with action elements. It is a sequel to the popular Aquanox series that was released in years 2001-2002. This installment was developed by the Serbian studio Digital Arrow known for InMomentum. The plot of Deep Descent takes place in a world in which due to the pollution of the surface the humanity was forced to move its civilization under water. However, many dangers awaited there, including mutated sea creatures and hostile human factions.

The action of the game takes us once again to the faithfully reproduced depths of the ocean, located in six different locations around the world. As a professional diver we undertake a number of different missions, such as photography, hunting or treasure hunting. The money we earn in this way we invest in better equipment, allowing us to take on more difficult challenges.

Check Dive is another diving game prepared by Russian company Biart. Like in Diver: Deep Water Adventures, the game in this title is located under water. However, the convention of the game is a bit different - the discussed item focuses primarily on providing the user with as much relaxation as possible.

Online action game set in the submarine depths, which is an improved version of the production released in the Xbox Indie Games in 2012. The game focuses on a multi-person diving rivalry, during which they must be careful not only about the actions of their rivals, but also about the threat from marine predators. Rivalry variants are complemented by cooperation mode and single player survival mode.

An action-adventure game with survival horror elements. You play as a group of divers trapped underneath the ice of the Arctic Ocean, trying to find a way out. The game focuses on exploration, but the ocean dwellers can attack the protagonist at any given time. The matters are made even worse by the fact that you are constantly running out of oxygen.
Treasures of the Deep

An action adventure game in which we play the role of a mercenary performing underwater missions. The tasks facing us in the Treasures of the Deep include plundering shipwrecks, mitigating the effects of environmental disasters or, for example, crossing the plans of competitors. At the time of the premiere, the title attracted attention mainly due to the high quality of the graphic design.

The story of Diluvion takes place in the distant future, where an apocalyptic flood has forced humanity to colonize the ocean depths. The gameplay is focused around exploration of a marine world of a considerable size, completing various tasks, and combat with encountered opponents.
