Warspace 2

In 2023, the Polish studio Magic Game Art released Warspace - a space shooter inspired by the giants of the arcades genre. Its sequel, namely the game Warspace 2 described here, is however a project of a much larger caliber, enriched with a procedurally generated open world and RPG elements.

Gameplay

In Warspace 2 the action is viewed from a top-down perspective.

Exploring the galaxy

During the game, we take control of a spaceship, with which we fly around the entire galaxy. We travel through space, visiting planets and meeting their inhabitants (who are either friendly towards us or quite the opposite).

Trading and crafting

Additionally, along the way we gather resources that we can allocate for trade or use in the crafting system. The game allows us to manufacture new weapons and upgrades for our fighter space ship, including shield generators or laser cannons.

Fighting opponents

This is important because the galaxy is teeming with adversaries we have to face. On our way, we encounter pirates and alien fleets. Battles with them are dynamic, and we must be constantly moving, skillfully avoiding enemy attacks, while trying to conduct accurate fire.
