Lords of the Fallen: How to defeat the boss Adyr, the Bereft Exile?

Adyr, the Bereft Exile is the final boss of one of the three endings in the game, namely Radiance. This battle is a bit different than all the other boss fights. Adyr, the Bereft Exile in a nutshell

1. During the fight with Adyr, you will not fight him, but his followers. To injure Adyr, you must attack opponents with a red mark on their heads.
2. Some enemies are invulnerable due to the parasite. You must first absorb it using the Umbral Lamp.
3. After killing enemies that have the fire sign above their heads, an explosion will occur. Move away from the corpse as quickly as possible, otherwise, you will take damage.
4. An armor that protects against fire will come in handy when fighting this boss. All enemies there will throw fireballs at you.
5. Take advantage of your environment. At some point, many enemies will have a fire sign above their heads. By hiding behind objects, you will find cover from their attacks.
6. Don't kill enemies without a fire sign. They are not a threat to you. Focus on those with fire marks on their heads.

How to fight Adyr, the Bereft Exile?

The entire fight involves listening to Adyr's monologue and killing his minions, who will have a fire sign above their heads. They then gain new skills, such as throwing a fireball or creating a lava field on the ground.

After killing one of the boss' followers, two hellish souls will arise and look for another vessel. When you manage to kill an enemy, follow the soul and kill the enemy who receives it as quickly as possible.

Area spells will be useful in this fight. It's best to gather several enemies with hellish souls around you and then attack them. Remember that when you kill them, their bodies will explode after a short while.

Once you have defeated all the enemies who have absorbed a hell soul, approach the fire circle located near Adyr. You will then end the boss fight and the entire game.

Rewards

For defeating Adyr, the Bereft Exile, you will receive the following rewards:

1. A new class - the Radiant Purifier,
2. Umbral Scouring x8,
3. Vestige Seed.

Where can I find the Remembrance of Adyr, the Bereft Exile?

At this point you cannot start a new game! Continue your current game. Then go to the bridge where you fought the Ruiner and enter Umbral. Follow the twisted root.

At the end of the bridge, you will notice a body that you must remove using the lantern. Do this and return to the bridge.

The root will begin to dematerialize, unblocking the way down. Jump down to the stone platforms and continue walking, keeping an eye out for enemies.

You will then reach the shrine of Adyr. Go inside and interact with the Stigma.

When this happens, you will receive 2 Umbral Scourings and the Remembrance of Adyr, the Bereft Exile. But be careful, because there is one of the Harbingers inside.
