Monster Hunter World: A Living Fossil

This page contains the guide for unlocking A Living Fossil silver trophy. To get it you have to catch a fish called "living fossil".

1. The fish you are looking for is a very rare species called Petricanths.
2. Rotten Vale is one of the places where you can catch a Petricanths. Reach the north-west part of area 15 of that map. There is a small water body with golden fish.
3. Start using your fishing rod until you catch Petricanths.
4. Keep in mind that this fish may be absent in that water body (you are looking for a big fish with white glowing spots - use binoculars to see it better). Leave Rotten Vale if you don't see it before fishing and go back here again to check that water body.
