Elders Recess - how to unlock?

Below, you can find the information that will allow you to unlock access to the Elder's Recess - the last part of the island, inhabited by the most powerful monsters:

1. You will have to defeat Zorah Magdaros, which will unlock high-level expeditions. You will be able to hunt tougher monsters and forge better equipment.
2. Then you have to complete the quest linked to Rathian's traces. It's a very long quest that requires gathering a lot of resources. Additionally, you have to defeat several more powerful kinds of monsters.
3. Finally, you will encounter the traces of the Pink Rathian. You will have to fight the monster - watch out, for it's very powerful. You will need the best equipment!
4. If you manage to win, you will unlock the Elder's Recess - an entirely new section of the island, where you will find many new, unique items and other collectables. This will again allow you to upgrade your hunter.
5. New, powerful monsters inhabit this region - among them Dodogama, Lavasioth and Uragaan. You will also have to fight the Azure Rathalos and the Nergigante.
6. Once you're done with these monsters, you will be able to face an entirely new kind of monsters - the Elder Dragons, who are the ultimate challenge for every hunter.
