Monster Hunter World: How to get a better room in Astera?

Your room is like a sanctuary to which you can go back after each hunt. Here, you can, e.g. change your equipment, interact with your Palico (you can order it to, e.g. stay in the room and train) or speak with the Housekeeper and use the following options:

1. Tailraider Safaris - you can send Palicoes to collect materials for you while you are hunting.
2. Go to the training ground - this is a special place where you can practice with various weapons.
3. Place animals - you can catch small creatures and place them in your room.
4. Claim Add-On & Bonuses - these options are for those players who own any of the add-ons (e.g. they preordered the game) or bonuses. Simply select the one you own and claim it.
5. The last option is to move to a new room.

After choosing this option you are moved to a new room. At the beginning your character lives in living quarters but after some time (the first upgrade becomes available after reaching Hunter Rank 9) you will unlock private quarters and a private suite.

New rooms give you various options such as placing fish in aquariums, reading books and even Palicoes that can play on harps! Although these options are purely cosmetic, they are still a nice touch and they help you to get a better immersion.
