Moons of Madness in a nutshell
Moons of Madness is the debut horror game by Rock Pocket Games. Before that, the studio was working on its first project - Shiftlings.
The action in Moons of Madness is presented from the first-person perspective (FPP) to enhance the horror atmosphere and have a greater impact on the player's imagination.
The game's atmosphere is based not only on mysterious forces waiting for the player but also on special gameplay mechanic. It is possible to run out of oxygen.
Additionally, the character gradually falls into madness and its effects can be seen on screen.
As for the plot, we play as Shane Newehart, a member of a space expedition. His goal is to go to Mars. However, this mission is interrupted by the appearance of mysterious cosmic forces inspired by H. P. Lovecraft's work.
