After completing the Cave of Madness, you'll reach the Shunned Basement. This is another level of the Moons of Madness. On this page, you will find a detailed description of all activities that you can perform in this object.

When you walk into the basement, you can look at the picture. It depicts a monster you saw in the greenhouse. In all, you need five photos to unlock the way forward.

In the basement, you'll find many elements that you can investigate. The most important, however, is the card left on the bookcase. It will show you the solution to the next puzzle.

When you get close to the periodic table, you have to watch out for the water on the floor. A cable fell into it, causing the area to be electrified.

Your job is to shut down the power supply. You'll just do it by disabling the plugs. We're only interested in the option with the signature - Laundry.

When you can pass safely, approach the desk. There is another photo on it. Take a look at it and put it in your inventory.

To get to the photo, wedged between the boards, use a crowbar. All you have to do is rip out one board, and the photograph will fall into your hands.

Use the books to open the way forward. You have to pull them in the right order. Look at the numbers on the back of each novel. You have to interact with them in following order: 6424. If you want to solve the puzzle yourself, reach the periodic table and choose the correct numbers.

In the new room, you'll find plenty of notes and objects to check out. To continue, you have to solve three puzzles. The first involves getting into the room - you've completed it already.

The next task is on the cork board located to your left. You have to arrange the photos from the earliest to the latest. Once you put them right, you'll be able to complete the last task.

The final task involves inflicting pain on the hero. Step out of the secret room and take a look at the newly appeared signs. Look at them until they turn red. Once all the signs are activated, they will be burned in your mind. Go straight to the secret room. That's where you complete the task and move on.
