Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord: How to enter and win arenas and tournaments?

Arenas in Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord give you great opportunity to practice combat and win some gold. In each fight you get a random weapon - this solution allows you to test different weapons. The more opponents you defeat, the more gold you will get (from a few to a few dozen gold coins). On this guide page you will learn how to enter an arena in Bannerlord. How to enter an arena?

Go to any city.

Every town has an arena - to enter it, choose Go to the arena option.

If this is your first visit, select Enter the arena.

When you enter the arena for the first time, the fight option won't be available. In this case, you have to select Enter the arena option.

Then talk to the tournament master.

Now talk to the Tournament Master and learn about the arena fights. You can now leave the location by pressing the Tab key.

From now on, you are able to fight in every arena.

The Practice fight option has become available in every arena in the game. Select it to begin a fight. All participants are your enemies. The more you defeat, the more gold you will get.

How to participate in the tournament?

Tournaments offer better prizes than arenas.

Tournaments appear from time to time in random cities. If you want to take part in a tournament, you can visit the Go to the arena tab every time you visit the city - if the tournament is available, then you will see a Join the tournament option. The tournaments are a bit more complex than arenas and offer better rewards.

The tournament is divided into four phases - in each phase the losers drop out of the tournament and the winners advance to the next phase. When you enter the game, you will be assigned to a random team and receive random equipment. In every round you take part in, you can bet gold on your success. However, keep in mind that you will only get the gold if you win the whole tournament. In addition, if you win the first place you will receive a valuable reward in the form of armor or a horse. You can easily earn more than 2,000 gold pieces for each victorious tournament - including the gold from bets and the value of other reward items.
