The devs of The Blood of Dawnwalker revealed a closer look at the Dragosti knyaz and presented concept art of an enemy that resembles the annoying monster from The Witcher 2 and The Witcher 3.
As they have done every week for almost two months, the Rebel Wolves studio has published a new part of "The Secret History of Vale Sangora" from the world of The Blood of Dawnwalker. This time, however, we received not only another part of the diary but also fresh concept art, which depicts one of the opponents.
The man who called for me, knyaz Skender Dragosti, made a striking impression. Tall, handsome and always richly dressed, he looked like the epitome of nobility. But, as is often the case, appearances were misleading. I quickly discovered that knyaz Skender was a cruel ruler, who knew no mercy when displeased. While a different seigneur might have used the proceeds from the mines to fund a cloister or a convent, knyaz Skender used them to expand the dungeons beneath the mighty Greifberg castle. I saw these dark, damp cells with my own eyes - their walls stained with blood.
It seems that knyaz Dragosti, who summoned Albertus Taurinus - the narrator of the story - will be one of the antagonists of the game. He was presented as a tyrant who doesn't hesitate to resort to the worst methods to get his way.
The aforementioned ruler and the group of vampires won't be the only threat to the subjects. Among the opponents to defeat, there will also be kobolds, the concept art of which you can see below.
According to the description posted on the game's official account on X, these are creatures with large eyes, long and veiny limbs, and curved claws. Their natural habitat is deep caves filled with darkness.
It's clear that their look somewhat resembles the nekkers from The Witcher 2 and The Witcher 3. These creatures will probably also sometimes be annoying to players, as suggested by the words of the marketing boss at Rebel Wolves studio, Pawel Panasiuk: "annoying little bastards."
