A fan has fixed Assassin's Creed: Shadows's problem that many gamers have complained about
A fan has developed a modification that fixes a number of graphical shortcomings of Assassin's Creed: Shadows, including a 30 fps limit during intermission scenes.

Tomorrow marks three weeks since the release of Assassin's Creed: Shadows. So far, Ubisoft has released two updates (1.0.1 and 1.0.2), which have fixed some of the game's flaws, but not all of them. Some remaining imperfections were addressed by a modder known as Lyall, who created the ACShadowsFix modification.
The project offers several noteworthy features.:
- First and foremost, it removes the 30 FPS limit in cutscenes. It also allows users to enable frame generation on supported graphics cards. Many players had complained about the FPS cap in cutscenes, making this an easy-to-appreciate improvement.
- Additionally, the mod enables full ultrawide monitor support in cutscenes. In the standard version of the game, the image is cropped on both sides.
- ACShadowsFix also provides extensive customization for the field of view (FOV), offering far more flexibility than the game's official menu.
- The creator also unlocked more advanced dynamic cloth physics, which the game engine supports but it’s not available in the settings menu for some reason. Ubisoft is likely holding off on officially enabling this feature until further refinement. In the first version of the mod, this effect was quite buggy, so in an update, Lyall had to set a fixed simulation frame rate to minimize issues.

Assassin's Creed: Shadows was released on March 20 this year for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. Within a week of launch, the game attracted over 3 million players and was warmly received on Steam, where it holds 81% positive reviews
