A week earlier than planned, patch 1.6.2 for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla has been released. It introduces a handful of changes and fixes, as well as free DLC titled The Last Chapter. It also gives us a preview of what awaits us in Assassin's Creed: Mirage.
Quite unexpectedly Ubisoft has released update 1.6.2 for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The company did so earlier than announced. The patch was supposed to be released on December 6, and we got it today. Along with it, we got free DLC titled The Last Chapter, concluding the story of Eivor.
The patch weighs in:
The update introduces changes, which we discussed in more detail in a separate message - the ability to put a hood over your head at any time during the game, purchase event items from merchants, etc. It also doesn't lack numerous fixes, which you can read about on this website. It is only worth adding that:
It is also worth adding that the discussed update introduces a new task - Shared History. In it, Eivor meets Roshan from the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Mirage. She is the mentor of the protagonist of that game, Basim, who also played an important role in AC: Valhalla.

It can be said that Ubisoft is spoiling the unreleased game a bit in this way, but at least we will get a foretaste of what awaits us in 2023, when AC: Mirage debuts on PC, PS4, PS5, XONE and XSX/S.
Similar content has made its way to Assassin's Creed: Odyssey around the release of AC: Valhalla - Alexios or Cassandra had to go to the Isle of Skye, where they met Eivor.
