Attack of the Titans still manages to surprise fans who find new hidden details in the series.
Attack on Titan is full of hidden details, still being discovered after the series finale. An observant user had recently noticed one such detail, showing how thoroughly the creators were portraying Eren changing as he studied his powers.
The new detail can be spotted in episode 58 of the anime, released on June 24th, 2019. It shows a conversation between Grisha Jaeger and Eren Kruger, recounted by Eren to Armin. That's when the truth regarding the lifespans of Titan shifters was revealed, as well as of Eren's Titan form.
While it's easy to overlook the first time, this scene (both in the anime and the manga) shows Eren's not only seen those memories, but also experienced them from two perspectives - his father's and Kruger's.
Notice how Grisha and Kruger are sitting in the frame below.

Now look at the poses Eren takes while telling their story to Armin.

At first, he sits just like his father, then he shifts into Kruger’s pose. In that moment, Eren wasn’t just there with Armin, telling him everything - he was also, in a way, with Grisha and Kruger, experiencing those memories as them. It shows Eren's connection to the previous wielders of the Attack Titan's power.
It's also emphasized by another shot, which at first may seem like an artistic choice during a transition between the present and the past. It's the moment when we briefly see Eren in Kruger's place.

Titan powers were still a mystery at that point in the series. The audience was still discovering what the Titans really are and how the wielders of their powers can affect their successors, so details of this sort only become clear later on.
