Agent trademark extension requested by Take-Two

Take-Two has filed a request to extend the trademark rights for Agent, an espionage action game which was announced in 2009.

Take-Two Interactive – the parent company of Rockstar Games, the creators of the (in)famous Grand Theft Auto series – has filed the fifth request to the United States Patent and Trademark Office to extend the trademark for Agent, an espionage action game which was originally announced back in 2009 as a PlayStation 3 exclusive, and has never seen the light of day. In fact, there has hardly been any information about the status of the production. Most of the time, the fact that Agent is at all in works is being questioned, and perhaps rightfully so.

To remind some of you about what Agent is (or rather what was it supposed to be): an espionage action game set during 1970s, in times of the Cold War, which was supposedly a part of the main plot. Over here, you can see some of the screenshots that leaked last year. Will the game ever launch? That remains to be seen.
