First Screenshots From Alan Wake Remaster Available Online

First screenshots from Alan Wake Remastered have appeared online. They were published on Amazon.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • First screenshots from Alan Wake Remastered are available online;
  • They have appeared on Amazon;
  • The images show that the game's visuals have undergone a well-deserved overhaul.

The Alan Wake remaster has been speculated about for quite some time. Two days ago rumors and leaks turned out to be true and Remedy Entertainment officially announced that it is working on the production. We did not have to wait long for first screenshots, which enable us to take a look at the improved visuals, to appear in the web. They were found on Amazon.

As you can see in the presented shots, Alan Wake's setting has undergone a well-deserved overhaul. Textures are sharper and have much more detail than in the original from 2010. However, the changes did not affect the game's style. Locations are still shrouded in fog even on a sunny day, and everything seems to be pulled straight from a Stephen King novel. The rest of the images can be found on Amazon.

Remedy Entertainment announced that it will soon share the release date of its title. For now, it limited itself to informing that it will debut this fall. According to one of the earlier leaks, Alan Wake Remastered may hit store shelves on October 5. It is worth mentioning that the PC version of the game at the time of release will be available only in Epic Games Store. This is due to the cooperation of the Finnish studio with Epic Games Publishing.
