Road Studio does not abandon Alaskan Road Truckers. The truck driver simulator, which debuted last month, will be expanded despite the mixed reception. Fans can expect new content, including free and paid expansions.
Developers of Alaskan Road Truckers reminded in a press release of the game's development roadmap, which they vaguely presented even before the game's release.
We have also learned that fixing bugs and the game's performance is expected to last until the end of November. Recently, the developers informed, that they are working on improvements to artificial intelligence, controls for steering wheels and controllers, and general optimization improvements. Subsequent updates solving as many problems as possible are expected to be large, but thus will be released less frequently.
It's the poor condition of Alaskan Road Truckers is the main reason for player complaints and mixed reviews. We know that in the first week after release the game sold 33,000 copies.
