25 Minutes of Gameplay From Aliens: Fireteam

25 minutes of gameplay from Aliens: Fireteam enables to assess whether the title created by Cold Iron is worth interest. The creators also talk about the main features of their game.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Recently announced Aliens: Fireteam received a video showing 25 minutes of gameplay.

The announcement of Aliens: Fireteam was received quite warmly by the gaming community. Cold Iron decided to prepare a co-op third-person shooter game. The first trailer gave hope that the title will achieve decent quality level.

The 25-minute video published by IGN enables us to verify the developer's initial announcements and compare our expectations for the game with the facts. The devs, taking the opportunity, also revealed a few new details. A surprise for many may be the mention of 20 types of aliens, which we'll fight.

The action of Aliens: Fireteam is set 23 years after the events known from the original trilogy of movies with the xenomorphs. USS Endeavor receives an distress call from a nearby planet. This is an introduction to the events which will be spread across four-story campaigns. The title offers RPG elements, enabling us to progress as one of three available character classes. Of course, we will also be able to modify the weapons we acquire. Wha kind of modern game it would be without such solution?

Aliens: Fireteam will launch this summer on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X|S and PC.
