Delta Force Hawk Ops is coming in 2024. It is a good time to collect information about this title.
Delta Force series is still alive in the hearts of many players. So, no wonder that numerous fans have welcomed the announcement of Delta Force Hawk Ops with enthusiasm. Well… to be precise it is not “Hawk Ops” anymore, as developers decided to drop it in favor of simpler Delta Force. Regardless of the title, the release date is coming near. So, let’s look at what we know about the game.
In the trailer during Gamescom 2024, developers have announced 2 things:
As of now, there is no precise date. Developers are probably waiting for feedback from Steam Next Fest. We would not be surprised to learn some details soon after the event ends, so after Monday 21.
Update: As we have predicted, developers have announced Open Beta on PC. Prepare to play the game on December 5.
As was stated, early access will be available only on PC. So, console owners will have to wait a little bit. Don’t worry, though, the full release is coming on multiple platforms - PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, PC (Steam and Epic) and mobiles (iOS / Android).
According to information which can be found on the official Discord (via moderators), optional crossplay between PC and mobiles was removed from plans (it means that official FAQ is a little bit outdated). However, we can expect console and PC on the same servers.
Multiplayer mode of Delta Force will be free to play. So, how will developers monetize the game? They plan to introduce microtransactions and sell skins (probably also battle passes). Moreover, some premium DLC might appear in the future. For example, be prepared to pay for the campaign mode.
