Are you waiting for the premiere of new cards from AMD?

During a periodic discussion of financial results with investors, AMD officially announced that Navi family graphics cards will be available on the market in Q3 2019. This means that earlier reports from Wccftech have confirmed that the GPU may debut in July or August this year. The most probable date for the premiere of new AMD cards is gamescom 2019 (taking place on 21-24 August) - however, these are only speculations and not confirmed information.

Let's remind you that there are some new photos on the web, which allegedly present a laminate of the Navi family of graphics cards. The photo analysis shows that AMD can use GDDR6 memory and 256-bit interface in its new GPU. It is also said that there is a large demand for electricity - a TDP of about 250-300W. What is certain, however, is that the new generation of GPUs will be made in a 7-nanometer lithography of the TSMC.

Radeon Navi may be an interesting proposition for players.

Following the disclosure of financial results for Q1 2019, AMD shares increased up by 8%. The company revealed that the share of earnings per share is 0.6%. Total revenue was $1.27 billion. This resulted in an operating profit of $84 million.

It is worth recalling that some time ago we learned a little more about the specification of PlayStation 5 (the name is not yet confirmed, but we can use it temporary for working purposes). In addition to the SSD, the new PS5 is going to be equipped with components developed by AMD. The console processor will be AMD Ryzen of third generation, equipped with 8 cores (7 nm Zen 2 architecture). The graphics card will be a specially designed version of AMD Radeon Navi, allowing ray tracing. Therefore, it is possible that after the premiere of new Ryzen processors and GPU from the Navi family, we will be able to estimate the approximate capabilities of PS5.
