Historical 4X strategy game Ara: History Untold, hailed as a rival to Civilization 6, has suffered a delay.
When studio Oxide Interactive announced Ara: History Untold during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022, it seemed that we would not have to wait long for the release of this historical 4X strategy game.
Apparently, however Ara: History Untold suffered a delay. As noted by Twitter user nicknamed Knoebel, the game's tab on Xbox website shows that it will be released in 2024, and not - as originally planned - in 2023.

This is not the only title listed on the aforementioned infographic that will not be released as planned. A similar fate was shared by, among others, ARK II and - most likely - Replaced and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Nevertheless, in most cases, the deadlines were met.
Ara: History Untold will be released exclusively on PC and will simultaneously be available on PC/Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It is worth mentioning that the developers regularly report on the progress of work on the game. In July alone, they presented farms, independent settlements or scouting system.
