First Gameplay From Ara: History Untold; Competitor to Civilization

Ara: History Untold, the debut work of Oxide Interactive, which will compete with the Civilization series and items like Humankind, has lived to see its first gameplay.

Oxide Interactive, founded by former Firaxis Games staff and working with Xbox Game Studios, has revealed the first gameplay footage from its new production, a turn-based strategy game titled Ara: History Untold.

In Ara: History Untold we will stand at the head of a selected nation and lead it through successive eras, exploring and occupying new areas, as well as taking care of technological and cultural advances. Warfare will also play an important role.

Interestingly, in Ara: History Untold we will not experience classic victory conditions. Thus, how we dominate other nations will depend solely on our decisions. Procedurally generated maps and a variety of challenges will make each gameplay session unique.

The game will be released on PC, next year. At the same time, the title will be available through PC Game Pass.
