Arcane Season 2 Premiere is Far Away, but Showrunner Has Good News
Little is known about progress on the second season of Arcane. However, the showrunner announced that one aspect of the upcoming project looks particularly promising.
The first season of Arcane debuted on Netflix in late 2021 and quickly became a hit. The production tells the story of heroes known from League of Legends. The fate of Jinx and Vi attracted many viewers - and not only fans of the adapted game. The series has achieved incredible success, which prompted the creators to greenlight a second season.
This fall will mark two years since the announcement of the continuation, and there is still little information available about it. The production hit the development stage relatively late, as no one assumed that the show would be so well received. The creators also admitted that they needed considerably more time for this project, as they are focused on its quality. All this makes the second season of Arcane will hit streaming not earlier than 2024.
The showrunner of the series - Christian Linke - however, decided to fuel fans' curiosity. On his Twitter he published a post in which he praise the soundtrack of the second season, calling it something very special. This information could mean that the creators are currently working on the soundtrack and are very excited about this part of the project.
The first season was full of good music, and the most popular was the song Enemy performed by Imagine Dragons and rapper J.I.D. The opening credits featuring the song instantly became iconic. Now we just have to wait to discover if by chance it will be changed in the second season.
