ARK Fjordur - How to Make Sanguine Elixir

Fjordur DLC for ARK has introduced many new creatures to the game. Some of them can be tamed and used to ride across the lands of Midgard, Asgard, Jotunheim and Vanaheim.

However, this task is not so simple. Some animals take a long time to tame. Fortunately, there is an item that will shorten this process.

We are talking about Sanguine Elixir, a potion that will increase your progress rate in taming unconscious creatures by 30% after drinking it. At the same time, the elixir speeds up the imprinting of husbanded animals.

However, keep in mind that the potion works on a given creature only once. So you cannot count on taming an animal instantly with the help of several bottles of the elixir.

How to make Sanguine Elixir?

To make Sanguine Elixir, you must first tame a Desmodus, a sinister and oversized bat. This creature is crucial to the crafting of the potion. This is because you will craft it using its saddle.

Once you meet this requirement, you can focus on gathering the ingredients needed to create Sanguine Elixir. We are talking about as many as 200 blood packs.

You can, of course, use the Blood Collection Kit, but a much more efficient way to collect the resource is to use a previously tamed Desmodus. All you have to do is ride it and attack the creatures you encounter along the way.

Every time Desmodus deals 50 points of damage to an animal, he will create one blood pack. So this is the fastest way to get 200.

When you have collected the required number and put them all in Desmodus' saddle, you will get the opportunity to craft Sanguine Elixir. You won't need anything else for this, so just use the new crafting option.
