Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon is a game about mechs. Obviously, fans know that very well. The series started in 1997 on PS1 and is established among enthusiasts of these humanoid “robots”. Especially as there is not many titles which allow players to be in shoes of mech pilots. However, many fans are wondering if the title allows cockpit view or FPP mode. In this guide we will answer this question.

Is there cockpit view or FPP in Armored Core 6

If you are one of the people who were waiting for cockpit view in Armored Core 6, we have some bad news for you. There is not such mode in the game. It is probably due to the fact that fights in the title can very dynamic and such view would be difficult to adapt properly.

Fans will be saddened also by the fact that the game lacks first person perspective view (FPP). There is only third person perspective mode (TPP). Of course, many players who hoped for more immerse approach to the gameplay will be disappointed.

However, there are also good points of TPP perspective – you will be able to observe how different parts of your mech cooperate with each other. It is also an interesting view, as developers from FromSoftware invested a lot of work into designing those elements.
