Viktor Antonov, known for designing the beautiful cities in Half-Life 2 and the Dishonored series, is working on a new FPP game with soulslike elements.
Viktor Antonov, the art director behind the unforgettable visual designs in Half-Life 2 and the Dishonored series, is working on an exciting new game.
The project is being developed at the newly founded Cyprus-based studio Eschatology Entertainment. More than 40 people are currently working on the game. In addition to Antonov, the core of the team consists of people who were previously employed by Lesser Evil Games and Wargaming.
Eschatology Entertainment has so far raised $4 million from investors (The Games Fund and GEM Capital) to develop the project.

This is the golden era of the Wild West
It's worth mentioning that the reality often referred to as the Wild West, a combination of westerns with fantasy and/or horror, has become very popular recently. In addition to Eschatology Entertainment's project in the pipeline, the market has already seen Weird West by WolfEye, also founded by former Arkane employees.
Polish developers are especially strongly represented in this category. A few months ago, the turn-based strategy game Hard West 2 by Ice Cold Games has been released, and since February an early version of the action game Blood West from Hyperstrange is available in Steam's Early Access. In addition, in three days the shooter Evil West from Flying Wild Hog will hit the market.
